HI LADIES!!
IT'S MY TURN TO TALK ABOUT MY ABILITY
I THINK THAT EVERY PERSON DEVELOPS DIFFERENTS ABILITIES IN THEIR LIFE, SINCE WE ARE CHILDREN WE TRY TO EMITATE WHAT OUR PARENTS DO.
WELL, SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL I ALWAYS LIKED TO HELP MY MOM WITH FOOD, I USED TO HELP HER WITH THE MOST SIMPLE THINGS IN THE KITCHEN LIKE FOR EXAMPLE CUTTING AND WASHING THE VEGETABLES... ETC, IT MAY SEEM SIMPLE BUT BELIEVE IT OR NOT IT HELPED ME A LOT BECAUSE I LEARNED HOW TO BE CARFUL WITH THE HYGIENE OF THE VEGETABLES THAT WE WERE GOING TO USE FOR COOKING.
SO I CONSIDER THAT MY MAIN ABILITY IS COOKING! I LOVE AND ENJOY TO COOK SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND THIS MADE ME FEEL PROUD, I´M GOOD AT COOKING PASTAS, SOUPS, MEAT AND OTHER KIND OF DISHES.
NOW MY MOM DOES´T WORRY ABOUT WHAT WE ARE GOING TO EAT SPECIALLY ON WEEKENDS I´M IN THE CHARGE OF COOKING, AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THAT I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT MY MOM IS THAT WE DON´T NEED ANY SPECIES OR CONDIMENTS TO EAT SOMETHING HEALTHY AND DELICIOUS BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS COOKED NATURALLY , FOR THAT REASON ONE DAY I´D LIKE TO HAVE A RESTAURANT!
I THINK THAT WHEN I FINISH MY MAJOR I MIGHT BECOME IN A CHEF!! SO GIRLS NOW YOU KNOW THAT IM GOOD AT COOKING!!!

When I was reading your blog, I imagined a little girl next to her mom washing vegetables. So cute!
Helping your mother was a good beginning for you because by watching, you learned many things, and due to that, you are now good at cooking. And you know what? That is going to help you a lot, I mean, when you marry, you won’t face any problem because you already will know what you have to do to make him happy; you know, that will be one of your tools to keep him cheerful.
Well Maggie, keep going, and never stop learning!!

THE TOPIC THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME IS: LEARNING ABOUT THE PAST HAS NO VALUE FOR THOSE OF US LIVING IN THE PRESENT?
I consider that learning about the past has value for us, because some of us don´t know or don´t care about things that can help us in the present and even in the future, i think that we need to know history to realize how things were done and also we need a base or learning about the past to know how doing something in the present at least we get a good idea! In other words, past is very important for both present and future. Past help us to understand our present. We can understand well about what we are doing this, how come we started that, or what we are supposed to do for those things by learning past. People who are living in the present have never experienced past. It might be very hard for them to understand present. For instance, a person who work for the government to solve some economic problems and if she or he doesn´t know about the problems that the government had in the past, it will be difficult to find a proper solution. That´s why learning about the past is very important for living in the present.
However, past is a key to solve problems which will come up in the future. History is repeated. We may meet an event which has happened before. If we learned from past, we can deal with that event properly and prevent making mistake. History provides us with the way we have to go forward.
We study history, not only for an academic study, more for understanding present we are living in now and preparing future we will meet. Without learning about history, there are no present and future. So that´s why i desagree with the previous statement.
